Terms of Service

Please read before using Twinkle Hub. Signing up or continuing to use the service means you agree.

What this service is

Twinkle Hub is an MCP-as-a-Service aggregator — bundling government open data from multiple countries plus Taiwan-local sources (industry, administrative, commercial) behind a single MCP endpoint for AI clients (Claude, your own agent). Free within the free credit allowance (rolling refill) at this stage; we'll notify users and update these terms before charging begins.

Account responsibility

  • One account per person. Sharing accounts gets you suspended.
  • Don't share API keys / commit them to public GitHub. If we detect a leak we'll rotate the key and notify you.
  • Provide accurate registration info. Impersonation breaks these terms.
  • You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

Using the service, you may not:

  • Violate Taiwan law or any downstream source's license
  • Abuse / scrape / circumvent rate limits (incl. multi-account budget bypass)
  • Attack downstream sources (DDoS / reconnaissance) via our endpoint
  • Generate or distribute illegal or infringing content
  • Try to access unauthorized backend / other users' data / our internal systems
  • Reverse-engineer the service beyond what's permitted by law

Violation: we may suspend immediately. Major or criminal incidents are reported to law enforcement.

Billing

  • At this stage, core tools are free within the free credit allowance (50 credits per rolling 5 hours, replenishing gradually, with a weekly cap of 200 credits). Selected deep corpus search and full-document retrieval are reserved for the upcoming Pro plan.
  • Before any paid plan launches, we'll notify users by email and update this section with full billing / refund terms, with a reasonable transition window.

Data license

Each downstream source has its own license (e.g. data.gov.tw uses Taiwan Open Government Data License v1). We pass through the license metadata end-to-end — your downstream app must comply with the source's license. Twinkle Hub makes no warranty on downstream content correctness, freshness, or availability (best effort).

Marketing & newsletter

We will only send newsletters regarding product updates and data highlights upon your explicit consent (enabled via the subscription form or account settings). You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email or your account settings; unsubscribing does not affect your use of the service. We will not share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time (contact support).
  • We may suspend you for terms violation. Immediate for major violations; 7-day cure for minor ones.

Disclaimer / liability cap

  • Service is provided as-is. No SLA at this stage.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, profit, or data loss damages.
  • At this stage the service is provided free of charge; if we are at fault, total liability is capped at TWD 1,000. This cap will be revised when paid plans launch.

Governing law / jurisdiction

Republic of China (Taiwan) law. The court of first instance is determined per the ROC Code of Civil Procedure.
