* The statistics are based on the assessment date of the Sale & Purchase document (i.e. the document stamped date). * Private residential properties include executive condominiums and residential land. * Instruments attracting ABSD also attract BSD. To avoid double counting the number of instruments, such instruments are reflected only in the ABSD instrument count. However, the BSD amount for such instruments remains captured under BSD. * There will be differences between the Stamp Duty Assessed (SDA) and the Tax Collection for Stamp Duty published on data.gov.sg. SDA is the net stamp duty payable or repayable, excluding transactions that are subsequently remitted or aborted, while Tax Collection is the total net amount of stamp duties collected, taking into account any tax refunds, adjustments and remissions.
